The Slovak Humanitarian Society remembers the victims of 11 September 2001 and the power of solidarity, courage and helping one another.
READ THE NEWS →We focus our help especially on people who have almost nothing and often struggle simply to survive. We also support humanitarian causes in our own community.

Our core message is service and inspiring others to act with humanity.

We look for ways to get help to the people who truly need it.

Transparency is the foundation of our relationship with everyone who chooses to help.

Any of us may reach a moment when we need a helping hand. Help does not have to be big to make a big difference. It can be a donation, time, attention, encouragement, or simply noticing the person beside us.
We believe a society is strong when people are not left alone with their hardship. Helping has been our tradition for more than 10 years. We connect those who want to help with those who need it. Every kind decision counts, and every good heart can be the beginning of change.
Find out how you can help →Poverty, hunger, illness or loneliness can take away hope. We want to stand by people who are left without options or support.

We also share current photos, updates about our activities and information about our help on Facebook. Follow our page and help us spread good things further.
You can donate directly by bank transfer. Under our principles, the founding members cover the organisation's operating costs so donations can be directed to charitable purposes.
